OPSF Kids Club Subsidy

Kids Club accepts the Nebraska DHHS Title XX Child Care Subsidy, which helps eligible families with the cost of child care.

If you plan to use this assistance, you’ll need to have your case approved and active with DHHS before your child begins care. Families are responsible for paying any portion of tuition not covered by the subsidy, including DHHS-assigned family fees.

PLEASE NOTE: Having a title XX authorization DOES NOT mean that you will gain access to the program.

YOU MUST STILL REGISTER YOUR CHILD IN KIDS CLUB!

If you have been in our program before; you must re-register every year if you are in need of the program.

1. Approval Before Care Begins

Students MUST be registered for Kids Club through the OPSF registration process.
Your Title XX case must be approved and active before your child starts attending Kids Club without you paying.
We cannot hold a spot while you are “in process” with DHHS — until we have confirmation, all tuition will be the parent’s responsibility.

2. Family Fee & Overages

Any family fee assigned by DHHS and any tuition not covered by your subsidy is due monthly through your Kids Club account.
Unpaid balances will result in suspension from the program until payment is made.
OPSF may ask for additional information such as receipts, proof of payment by other provider.

3. Attendance Reporting

Extended absences can affect your subsidy approval -- if you do not use your authorization in the capacity of what you were awarded, you may lose the subsidy all together.

4. Changes in Eligibility

If your subsidy is reduced, suspended, or closed, you are responsible for the full tuition starting immediately.
It is your responsibility to notify both DHHS and Kids Club of any changes in your case.
